Respite can be an hour away.
A change of scenery has been needed…and today that was fulfilled. My sister and I spent the better part of the day in Wimberly, a quaint little town in the Hill Country just an hour away.
It was as hot today as it has been, but as we sat under the shade of an Oak, the breeze mixing with our sweat to cool us off, we both remarked how time seemed to stand still. The 2+ hours we spent at The Bella Vista Ranch (an olive orchard and vineyard) felt like two days.
It was just what I needed.
