COBALT
blue marble
spins as it rotates
‘round yellow
ball of fire.
Elemental connections:
fire, earth, air, water.

ALL THAT REMAINS
Quietly
we ride the tide of
still waters
while she drops

RETURNING HOME
(a shadorma)
I’m drawn by
the prevailing winds
that bring you
home to me.
I’m waiting where the water
laps our shingled shore.

DON’T FORGET ME
(a shadorma)
When you’re gone
I will still be here,
waiting for
my next ship
to come in. Steadfast and true,
I will help her, too.
