IN SORROW’S MIDST
(a shadorma)

Though her life
filled with days darkened
by sorrow
and goodbyes,
she stands, with her head held high,
“My heart will go on.”

RAIN OR SHINE
(a shadorma)

Each droplet
traces the path of
the one that’s
gone before.

 I wipe my cheek knowing they
all make me stronger.

(a shadorma)

She stood tall,
emerged from the shadows, and
let go of the past.
