THE SEAMS OF A BROKEN HEART
In walking
the empty streets of
forgivness
and mercy,
the way is not always smooth…
yet always worth it.

A VIEW OF A FRIEND
(a shadorma)
Day of rest.
A time for healing.
My good friend
is the best.
On her couch, I sprawled all day,
THANKS! is what I say!

TIME HEALS
(a shadorma)
I first tried
Bandaids and fixes
of all kinds,
pain remained.
Months passed, seasons changed; my wounds
are now but faint scars.

GETTING A GRIP
(a shadorma)
My two hands
have both held and lost.
I know pain;
paid the cost.
Tentative fingers now wrap
around love again.
