Walt was among my first fans and source of encouragement when I started writing poetry in 2010. He and Marie Good formed “Poetic Bloomings” which was a regular spot for me to get prompts and pointers. Walt’s presence at Poetic Asides (long before I stepped onto the “Street”) has proven to be an example of what it means to let the words flow–both in poetry and in the encouragement of poets. Thank you, Walt!

  1. Thanks for those kind words, Paula. I remember when you called yourself an accidental poet. But you write with so much heart and emotion – just what a poet does. Nothing accidental about your work. Glad I have been an Influence and will continue to be as long as you want me. I’m just happy you’re writing again.
