Midnight Contemplations

MIDNIGHT CONTEMPLATIONS

It’s not my imagination…
as I listen to the music of the night,
my defenses find cessation.
It’s not my imagination…
truth is realized through all sensations.
His tender mercies are not finite.
It’s not my imagination,
as I listen to the music of the night.

    1. Thanks, Elizabeth. I thought the triolet form worked well with how thoughts go in circles in my head at night! 😉 AND…I managed to use all eight words you provided! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Mosk…I wrote two poems with this eight-word prompt. This was the more positive of the two. I’ll post the other… Thank you for visiting. ❤
