WISHING FOR WHIMSY
(a shadorma)

She pauses
with glass pressed to lips
while her world
is wrapped in
green. She wishes it were so,
even just one day.

  1. Like the poem, PW, and love the crisp new look. I’ve never been a big fan of white text on dark backgrounds. This pops, ad it’s one of my favorite colors! Very cool.

    1. Thank you, Ron. 🙂 I loved my old “theme” (my favorite is blue), but I was finding that two-column layout wasn’t working for me. It was looking too busy up top. So I searched for a theme that put the widget stuff on the bottom. Plus – I feel this layout works well with all of the photos I’ve been using for this “100 Days” project. Still toying with whether layout and photo size, etc. (wondering if it’s “distracting” for either the photo or the poem–or both–if the photo is too large and scrolling is needed). Any additional feedback you want to give would be great! 🙂

      1. I’m pretty sure you can turn the green to blue if you want. Click on your blog name (upper left), then click on “customize.” You’ll see…

        1. Did you see they added a “like” feature for comments? I don’t know if we’re notified of “likes”…but I “liked” your comment. So…let me know if you were notified. 🙂
