ESCAPE TO BOULDER CANYON
There once was a man who went campin’.
He walked ‘til his legs they were crampin’.
He came from Boulder,
and now feels much older,
from walking to “Atlasta Cabin”.

Thanks! I don’t usually write limericks (I don’t think I’m very good at them!), but someone challenged me to write a limerick today…so I did. 🙂 Thanks for your encouragement and your visit! 🙂

I’m glad you think so, ViV. 🙂
I’m not so fond of writing limericks. :-\

A little light-hearted limerick never hurt anyone!

Thanks, De. The woman who took the photo told me that the old mining cabin has been in the owner’s family (not hers) since before 1900. And it’s called “Atlasta Cabin”. I couldn’t resist using the name in my poem. This photo and poem were featured in the recent exhibit in an art gallery in Denver. 🙂
