Lost and Found

In and out
of my apartment,
back and forth,
doing my
laundry…he was there, watching,
tugging at my heart.

Puppy dog
eyes pleaded with me.
He wasn’t
begging, he
just needed help, asking me
to find him a home.

    1. I did find a home for him, ViV…but not with me. My two kitties would not have been pleased with that option. He was taken in by a colleague who already had a dog…a dog that, until now, has not liked other dogs, but now sleeps with his new pal. A happy ending. 🙂
