Dreamcatcher

DREAMCATCHER

Allow yourself
to wake up slowly,
over a matter of minutes,
lolling about
in your grogginess.
Just don’t try too hard
to hold onto those fleeting images.
If you chase a dream,
it’s going to run away.

  1. Ugh, all those mornings when i wake up late and don’t have the time to wake up slowly and seize the day in my own pace…But nice poem though, i liked the metaphor in the ending!
