I AM Not Lost

I AM Not Lost
(a shadorma)
*based on Psalm 56

To my tear-
drops: fall where you may.
You are caught
and counted
by my Father in Heaven.
He knows my sorrows.

P. Wanken

Inspired by
Poetic Asides PAD Challenge prompt #16:
“Use the last line of yesterday’s poem for the first line today.”
and posted as Day #13 for the “100 Days of Fall/Winter 2012” challenge.

    1. Thank you, Mosk. At first I wondered how I’d use yesterday’s last line (“to my teardrops fall”) as a first line…especially since I’ve been posting shadormas all month for the PAD challenge. And then the Psalm came to mind. ❤

    1. Thanks, Pamela. It felt daunting at first — that line didn’t sound like anything I could use to open a new verse! Thanks for the encouragement!
