Longing

LONGING
(a shadorma)

Side by side,
sweethearts and soulmates.
Whispered words,
by moonlight,
tender touches tantalized.
Suddenly no more.

    1. Oh…”encapsulation” what a great five-syllable word! I’ll have to remember that one. 😉

Thanks for coming by, and for the comment. Yes, whenever and however they end, it seems sudden. Hope you’ll come by again.

    1. Thanks, Sara. Glad you liked it! 🙂

…I hadn’t noticed my alliteration until I was writing the “tender touches” line and was brainstorming what that last word should be…when I reread what I’d written so far, I knew it needed to be a “T” word in keeping with the rest. 🙂

    1. Aw, ViV…you know I write from a melancholy viewpoint…I don’t think that will ever change. :-\ But thanks for worrying…and I’ll try to throw a cheery shadorma in the mix now and then.

      *hugs*
