Questions In Life

(a shadorma)

A woman’s
highest calling is
some are called
naturally to parenthood,
some are interviewed.

  1. One of my teachers was an professor of Early Childhood education and development. She and her husband remained childless but she was the most extraordinary and exemplary person/teacher I ever met. I dare say she improved the lives of thousands of children as if they were her own though no one ever called her mother. Ironically, she taught the teachers who taught the children. Sorry to go on and on, but I am so moved by your tender poem here. All best, Paula.

    1. Thank you so much for that…because yes, some women are never called “mother” but have played an important role in the lives of children. Thank you, Brenda!
