Opening A Window

OPENING A WINDOW

wayward memories
of the strange
as well as the sublime

robust laughter
having a ball,
frenzied phone calls
during rough patches
when one or the other
was on attack;
tender words
of falling in love

channeling energy
to settle my thoughts
trying again to close the door

  1. Memories can be like that… all the good, little of the bad. It is best to shut the door and open the window.
