The Pain of Self-Doubt
My heart aches, feeling as though bruised
my eyes, spilling with tears
my throat, constricted.
Was it not yesterday
that my heart felt the same ache…
but of longing
that my eyes were filled with tears…
of joy
that my throat was tight…
because my breath was taken away?
To love deeply is a joyous, beautiful thing.
For it to be overshadowed with self-doubt is painful.

Paula, we’re on the same wavelength. Love can be heaven or hell, and self-doubt can sabotage so many relationships. Good work. Amy

Re-look with fresh eyes. Does your perspective change? You’re a better person in seeing yourself as others see you. Self-doubt debilitates. Liberate. We like the Paula we’ve been shown. Just a thought to carry with you.
